CD Group CEO Ian Gillespie said "at the heart of a member-owned bank was the focus on working for members and their communities rather than making money for shareholders."
Adding to our existing assistance, insurance and lifestyle offering and advocacy work, Mr Gillespie said banking was a perfect next step for Queensland's largest club. "CD has long been an integral part of Queensland and launching CD Bank allows us to provide an even great service to our more than 1.7 million members." Ultimately enabling our members to get more out of the Queensland way of life. More is great rates, less fees. Plus, a range of straightforward banking product, all backed by our 24/7 Queensland service and technology to help you bank on the go.
Celebrating one year as a mutual bank
CD Bank turned one on 25 September, 2018.
Since our launch, and continuing today, we're proud to offer members honest, easy and great-value banking products and services, without hidden fees or charges. As a mutual bank we share these celebrations with our members and look forward to continuing on this journey with you.

Delivering on our promises
We made several key promises to our members when QT Mutual Bank and CD merged to create a new force in mutual banking for Queenslanders.
As part of our promise we’ve made substantial upgrades to our technology. Our new and improved internet banking gives you easier access and added security plus members can now access their everyday banking on our new mobile app. And of course, our friendly staff are here to help in branch, and 24/7 in our Queensland-based centre.
