Open an account
To start the process, you’ll need to open one of the following accounts:
- Everyday Account
- Advantage Plus Account
- eSave Account
- Bonus Saver Account
Transfer your salary
Once you’ve opened your new CD Bank account, arrange for your salary to start being paid into it. To make this easier, download the form at the link below, print it, sign it and take it to your HR or payroll to help speed up the salary transfer process. You can also organise to have other direct credits such as pension, investments, Medicare or Centrelink payments transferred into your new account.
Redirect regular payments
Next, arrange to have all your regular payments taken out of your new account. Consider things like pay TV, gym, phone bill, internet, health insurance and utilities. To make sure you cover everything, you may like to your current bank to source a list of frequent payments.
Close your old account
Finally, close your account with your old bank, and the job is done!
