At CD we’re proud to support the education of Queensland students. We believe the more we can do now, the more they can thrive in the future.
As part of this commitment, we offer a range of school programs to help students develop financial and road safety. Plus, we’re always looking to celebrate the amazing teachers who do such an incredible job supporting students through the most important years of their lives.
Because CD is owned by members we do more for our community, and we look forward to continuing to support Queensland schools for years to come.
At CD, we believe it’s never too early to start learning how to be safe around roads. Our Streets Ahead program teaches primary school students from Prep to Year 6 important safety lessons, with four presentations covering passenger, pedestrian and bicycle safety. With fun demonstrations, interactive activities and discussions, it’s helping keep Queensland kids safe now, and into the future.
CD Docudrama is a program for Year 11 and 12 students that takes an interactive approach to road safety. Partnering with the Queensland Police Service, Queensland Ambulance Service and other local professionals, we create a powerful ‘mock crash’ scenario to demonstrate the real impact of road tragedy. From here students are empowered with strategies to avoid these dangers and combat the ‘Fatal 5’.
CashIQ is a financial literacy program designed to give Year 11 and 12 students the smarts they need to manage and grow their money. Fun and interactive, it provides simple tips on how to make good financial choices and explores how they can pay off in the long run.
This road safety awareness program for Year 10, 11 and 12 students is designed to help novice drivers survive and thrive. From how to rack up their 100 learner hours, to being a passenger and dealing with breakdowns, it covers all the key aspects of hitting the road and steers students in the right direction with practical tips and advice to get the most of their driving journey.

More support for Queensland schools
Premier’s Reading Challenge
CD is proud to continue to support the annual Premier’s Reading Challenge. Every year CD supports the promotion of the competition across the state and gives away thousands of books to schools participating in the Challenge.
Staffroom for Improvement
Every year CD runs a state-wide competition to give back to schools and their hardworking teachers. With a $20,000 staffroom makeover on the line, Staffroom for Improvement is an opportunity for the community to recognise and reward teachers who make a big difference in the lives of our children.
Member owned also means
In the last year, CD members shared in $154 million in returned value across CD products and services, helicopter network sponsorship, as well as retail, entertainment, dining and fuel discounts, just to name a few.
